WEAVING ON PIN AND SOCK LOOMS

Have you ever wondered how to weave on pin looms? These are highly portable handheld looms you can take anywhere. Learn how to warp and weave squares and how to form them into triangles, diamonds, and rectangles. Learn how to weave designs. Explore different techniques to join the squares together. With pin looms you can make coasters, mug rugs, dishcloths, pouches, phone or tablet cases, scarves, blankets, soft toys, and stuffed animals. Various small looms will be available for participants to use during class or bring your own looms and 20 yards of mixed or one color of yarn. A size 4 or smaller crochet hook is helpful but will be available for use in class.
 
 You’ll learn how to make slip knots and weaver’s knots. Woven squares, yarn & assorted sizes/styles of weaving needles will be available along with yarns for people to use to weave and to join squares in class and to take home.
