Learn how to create your own draft by using a twill dishtowel as a canvas. You will leave the workshop with a draft that has the level of specificity of a purchased draft/pattern. We will calculate your material needs, warp length, warp color order, and write out a threading shorthand. We will discuss shrinkage/take-up/draw in, floating selvedges, and picking a sleying sequence to fit the reeds you have at home.
 
Participants should bring pencils (not pens!), paper, and a calculator (phone calculator is fine).
