We traditionally think of embroidery as something that is added by the weaver after a piece is woven. But did you know that some embroidery stitches done on the loom look identical to those done off the loom? In this class you will have hands-on experience with five basic embroidery stitches done while using a hand loom. We will discuss many techniques that can be used on multi shaft looms to embellish your weaving in even more ways. 
 
Bring a frame loom and a small darning needle, size 16 or 18, available from Michael’s.
 
Materials fee: $10 to cover cost of handouts and embroidery yarn.
