Author, master weaver and teacher Norma Smayda will talk about weaving Ondulè with a fan reed. She will bring a fan reed for people to see and finished woven cloth projects. Ondulè weaving with curving warp threads create new and interesting results. She will be available to answer questions. Norma is the author along with Gretchen White of “Ondulé Textiles: Weaving Contours with a Fan Reed” as well as “Weaving Designs by Bertha Gray Hayes: Miniature Overshot Patterns”.
