  • HGCT  Library:  With close to 1000 books and other references, the guild library is one of the most complete collections of weaving and fiber arts reference materials in the region. The library includes books and monographs as well as an archive of magazines and periodicals. 

  • Hartford Artisans Weaving Center enriches lives through the craft of handweaving in a supportive and creative community. The artisan program at the Center is especially committed to people with low or no vision and those age 55 or older. The Center sells the handwovens made by the artisans and holds weaving classes and workshops to the general public throughout the year. Many brands of weaving fiber, Schacht weaving looms and equipment are available for purchase. Volunteers are always welcome.

  • In Sheep's Clothing located in Torrington, CT, is an Ashford, Schacht and Louet dealer and carries only the highest quality yarns and weaving, felting and knitting supplies. 

  • New England Yarn - Guild member Mary Anderson's New England Yarn shop has a new location on Queen Street in Southington. Throughout the year, the shop offers classes to improve your knitting and crochet techniques and sells yarn, books, patters, needles & hooks. Join us on Thursdays from 6-8 for free Open Knit/Crochet - a social gathering for all skill levels.​

  • M.O.B - My Own Bag - "One of a Kind, Just like Me" - An area 4 ongoing project to make bags for foster children. Marjie W. and Sue J. have generously created a powerpoint presentation and instructions to make the bags.
