Summer Weaving Workshop
The Hartford Artisans Weaving Center will be hosting a Maxi-Workshop this summer, the weekend of August 6th-8th (Fri.-Sun.)   This is an ideal workshop for weavers who feel lost designing with color and want to break out of their color comfort zones. Weavers, from advanced beginners to advanced levels, because working with color is primarily a design issue.

"There Must Be 50 Ways to Weave Your Color"

Weavers spend a lot of time mastering the basics of their craft and their equipment, yet often have little opportunity to immerse themselves in studio arts design coursework or conceptual thinking. This workshop attempts to bridge this gap and give weavers the tools they need to approach designing with confidence while gaining a broader understanding of how to work with color without having to master the art of color theory. It's a round robin class, and everyone will go home with a swatch, woven at each loom. For more information and full description of the workshop, go to WeavingCenter.org.
